Who are we
Arkova is the trust layer for records, humans and AI agents alike. We create a cryptographic fingerprint of each document and anchor that proof to an immutable public ledger, so anything issued once can be verified forever, by anyone, without trusting us or anyone else to hold the original. Our updated deck can be found here.
This month at Arkova
September was spent building our pipeline and working with our partners.
Last month, the team spent significant time refining existing relationships, expanding our network, and building out prototypes with partners. We are excited to be launching the first of these integrations, with ComputeID, later this month.
Credentials and Professional Licensing
Arkova aims to give individuals a portable, verifiable portfolio of achievement, while providing institutions and organizations a more efficient way to issue credentials. Jenny Parks, our higher education advisor, has worked with us to refine our strategy as we continue to build relationships. The guidance we received from Credential Engine has allowed us to build out our credential issuing platform to the highest industry standards. Aside from issuing and storing verifiable anchors, Arkova allows professionals to track and verify their Continuing Professional and Continuing Legal Education requirements with our application
Out in the world.
In September we hosted a successful event at Tech Week Grand Rapids. Our panel on AI Governance drew over 40 guests and received extremely high reviews. The focus of the event was on how shoddy governance policies can negate any benefits you may receive from AI, the importance of having a “human in the loop”, and how blockchain and AI are a natural fit for one another. Carson also spoke at the Midwest Bitcoin Summit in Columbus, Ohio about how the Bitcoin Network can be used as a verification layer
In Africa, our business development lead Uyiosa kept turning August's Lagos conversations into meetings, with more follow-ups lined up for October. Potential partnerships are shaping up nicely, and we hope to close a few in October. He is also putting together an Arkova newsletter for Africa with a special focus on highlighting the evolving tech landscape across the continent and how Arkova can solve some of the continent's most pressing verification issues.
In Sydney, Sarah joined Tech Everest, hosted by Hicksons law firm, and came away with a handful of new conversations with organisations looking at how they verify the records they rely on.
Security and governance.
Our cybersecurity partner, Sekura, completed comprehensive scans of our application and has initiated continuous monitoring - another small step we took ahead of opening our SOC 2 Type 2 window scheduled for Q1.
Product update
In build this month:
- Suborganizations and affiliates for partners. Have a large organization? Want to keep Legal separate from IT? Organizations can now create suborganizations with their own admins and administer anchors/credits to each.
- The ultimate version control. For a while, users have been able to connect a few Google Drive folders and their Docusign accounts to Arkova, now, when a new version of an existing anchor is created, the old anchor shows as superseded and links to the new anchor, allowing organizations to quickly find the correct version of a document
- Stripe is live! As of today, anyone can navigate to arkova.ai and sign up for an account. Stripe is integrated to handle payments and account verification
- API, CLI, MCP, SDK, and Webhooks updated. Arkova is close to having parity across our web application and all tools
- Anyone can check a record at search.arkova.ai without an Arkova account using a public ID. Give it a shot: ARK-DOC-GDUP4G
Partnerships
Integration work is underway with partners across security, AI governance and credentialing, and we are building joint case studies to share in the coming months.
